CYCLOCROSS CAMP - Sept 3rd-5th, 2011
CYCLOCROSS CAMP 2011!
This is YOUR chance to dive into cross and learn everything needed to embark into the world of 'cross. This is a comprehensive weekend, including a trip to a cross race (to race or spectate). Open to all levels, this is quaranteed to enhance your skills and help your racing this season.
Agenda:
Saturday 8AM. David Douglas Cyclocross Race! Meet at the Upper Echelon Tent for a meeting, then course walking, and warm-up, instructed by Upper Echelon Coaches Russell Cree and Molly Cameron. Racing is not necessary, if you prefer to spectate and analyze the race with Molly and RC, that is great. if you are up for racing, that's great too.
Saturday AM & PM. Race! Return to UEF tent post-race for analysis. (Racing is optional)
Sunday 9AM-Noon. Meet at UEF for a classroom discussion on cyclocross training and equipment selection, bike fitting, and more. Plenty of time for Q and A.
Sunday 1PM-5pm. Meet at Upper Echelon. Bring a cyclocross or Mt Bike for on the bike skill instruction. From UEF, will ride as a group to a park for skills instruction.
Monday 9AM-Noon. Meet at Upper Echelon for Q and A, review Sunday's discussion and watch video/race analysis.
Monday 1PM-5pm. Meet at Upper Echelon with bikes for skill instruction. Will ride to Forest Park from UEF for skills and training session.
